About Twin Turbo

Twin Turbo is Danny Dwyer and Joey Artino.

We've been friends for most of our lives and have been making things together for a long time. We grew up playing baseball, spent years skateboarding and snowboarding, traveled all over the place, and somehow turned a lifetime of getting into shit together into a career making films.

Danny is a Los Angeles-based cinematographer with commercial work for Lexus, Puma, Mint Mobile, Hoka, and plenty of others. He's shot campaigns featuring people like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Beck, Lady Gaga, Natalie Portman, Ryan Reynolds, and Ryan Gosling. His work has a polished, cinematic quality, but it's never just about making something look cool. There's always a story underneath it.

Joey has spent the last decade shooting, producing, and editing projects in 22 countries and counting, working with brands and organizations including Major League Baseball, Genesis, and Hyundai. He's always been interested in the same thing: finding what makes a place, a person, a product, or an experience worth paying attention to — and figuring out how to capture it.

We've worked on countless projects together, from small shoots to big productions, and that history is probably the most valuable thing we bring to a set. We know how each other thinks. We know when an idea is working, when it isn't, and when we should probably try something completely different.

We're serious about the work. We're not particularly serious about ourselves.

At the end of the day, we just like making really good shit.
